Remote – home based

Job Description


The Bid Manager will be responsible for producing high quality bid proposals and tender documents that effectively communicate CCH Group’s business-specific strengths and align with the requirements of prospective clients. You will work collaboratively across departments to produce compelling content that supports business growth and reflects our mission to transform lives.

Key responsibilities

Bid/proposal writing:

  • Research, write and edit high-quality, persuasive content for bids, tenders, and proposals
  • Align submissions with client requirements, ensuring they highlight CCH Group’s value propositions

Bid management:

  • Manage the end-to-end bid process, including leading on kick offs, win theme workshops, pre-submission approvals, lessons learned and win/loss reviews
  • Ensure timely and compliant submission of all documents
  • Coordinate with internal teams to gather relevant information and contributions.
  • Content creation/development/maintenance:
  • Contribute to library of bid content, case studies, and other key materials
  • Regularly update content to reflect CCH Group’s achievements and capabilities
  • Incorporate client and stakeholder feedback into future submissions to continually enhance quality

Quality assurance:

  • Ensure all submissions meet client specifications, regulatory standards and CCH Group guidelines
  • Conduct thorough reviews and peer reviews of content/submissions to ensure accuracy and consistency

Market research:

  • Research industry trends, competitors, client needs and conduct local area research to tailor effective responses
  • Analyse feedback from unsuccessful bids to identify areas for improvement and strengthen future efforts.
  • Be familiar with best practice and policy recommendations relating to health and social care

 

Qualifications


  • Experience of working in health and social care tendering and contracts role
  • Ability to work on multiple projects under pressure and within deadlines
  • Ability and willingness to work flexibly in order to meet tight deadlines
  • Resilience and problem solving in the face of adversity
  • A strong, clear and persuasive writing style
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Advanced proof-reading and editing skills
  • Advanced knowledge of IT packages including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and email
  • An understanding of LA and CCG commissioning and processes
  • Understanding of the health and social market (e.g. Domiciliary Care, Continuing healthcare, Extra Care)
  • Enthusiastic, motivated and self-starter
  • Team player
