With over 30 years of experience, Marion has touched countless lives. “It’s not always easy,” she admits, “but every tough day is outweighed by moments that remind you why you do it.”

Melrose Harding
Care coordinator of the year – Great British Care Awards
Melrose, from our South London branch, was overcome with emotion upon winning the Home Care Coordinator Award. “I burst into tears and kept shouting, ‘Wow, wow, wow!’” she shared.
Chosen from over 4,500 nominations, judges praised Melrose as “an incredible example of compassion in action, setting the standard for care coordination.”
With 23 years in care, Melrose’s journey began by caring for her hearing-impaired grandmother. “I learned sign language to make sure she felt valued,” she recalled.
As a Care Coordinator, she works tirelessly with families, social workers, and GPs to advocate for people-first care.
“Whether I win or not, I know I’ve touched lives, and that’s what matters most,” she said. Melrose, you inspire us all.
Shanna Ramsey
Office support of the year
Shanna Ramsey, ECM Officer in Belfast, is known for her sharp mind, huge heart, and ability to juggle countless tasks. From monitoring systems to payroll, compliance, on-call duties, care coordination, and HR, “she does the work of five with a smile.”
Annette Daly, Branch Manager, shared, “Shanna goes above and beyond to ensure safe and efficient practices in our branch. Her dedication and attitude have made a significant impact on our team and the company’s achievements.”
On winning Office Support of the Year, Shanna said, “It was completely unexpected and very much appreciated. I love my job and feel blessed to be part of the team in Belfast, striving for growth and excellence.”
